Doodling

The day after Halloween is typically a no-student day, but teachers have to go. Today our inservice was about professional learning communities. The new buzz acronym PLC. During long presentations when I am required to listen attentively, I often find myself drawing tiny lines, one right next to another. These often turn into a unique object, a strange being, or an abstract scene. Today my doodle suddenly took the shape of a donkey looking into the 3 powerpoint slides illustrated in the handout.

My colleagues glance down and their eyes widen with admiration. ” That’s very artistic!”

“Oh thanks, It’s just to keep my hands busy while I listen.”
